TERVIS RETURN, REFUND, AND EXCHANGE POLICY

30-Day Returns and Refunds

Eligibility
  • Timeframe: You may return your order with your sales receipt or packing slip within 30 days from your date of purchase for the refund of the sale price and tax of the purchase
  • Condition: Non-defective returns must be returned in new and unused condition along with its original packing materials
  • Exclusions: Personalized & customized items are non-refundable
Refund Terms
  • What’s Refunded: Sale price and tax of the purchase
  • Shipping: Shipping charges will not be refunded
  • Free Shipping Adjustments: If your order originally received free shipping because it met the offer requirements, but will no longer meet the requirements after we receive the returned item(s), Tervis will refund the sale price of the returned item, minus the cost of the shipping charge valued at the new order sub-total
Processing Times
  • Mail-in Returns: Mail-in returns will be processed within 30 days of receipt
  • Credit Card Returns: Credit card returns will be processed within 5-7 days of receipt

Exchanges

Eligibility
  • If you purchased your Tervis in the last 30 days, you probably want to start a return or exchange instead
  • Must follow the same 30-day timeframe and condition requirements as returns
Exchange Process
  • Complete the 30-Day Return or Exchange Form (available on the website)
  • Follow the same mailing instructions as returns

Lifetime Guarantee (Product Replacement)

Coverage
  • Classic Insulated Drinkware: For all Classic drinkware (purchased since 1946)
  • Stainless Steel: Various guarantees based on product type and logo style
  • Accessories: Accessories including but not limited to lids, straws & handles are not guaranteed for life
What’s Covered
  • Our guarantee covers failure of materials or workmanship
  • Defects that slip by quality inspection
What’s NOT Covered
  • Normal wear and tear refers to conditions which the product is exposed to during its intended use
  • Excessive wear and tear, abuse, misuse, or neglect is not covered by our warranty
  • Products determined to have been intentionally damaged will not be replaced
  • Commercial use or pre-owned drinkware intended for resale falls outside of our Guarantees
  • Products determined to be purchased on the secondary market (e.g., from a yard sale) will not be replaced
Guarantee Process (Effective April 15, 2025)

IMPORTANT: Effective April 15th, 2025, any item submitted for guarantee without the required guarantee form and the required label (with barcode) affixed to the outside of the package will be returned to the sender and not processed

Steps:
  1. Verify Eligibility: Check that your Tervis product qualifies for replacement
  2. Fill Out Form: Fill out the Guarantee Form for up to 6 products
  3. Package Items: Pack item(s) with the printed form in a box or padded envelope. Affix provided address label with barcode to the outside of your package
  4. Ship: Purchase postage and send via your favorite carrier (or bring it to the Tervis Store, if you are local)
Processing and Replacement Terms
  • Inspection Required: Tervis physically examines the drinkware returned for replacement to verify that there was a failure in materials or workmanship
  • Processing Time: Please allow 4-6 weeks for your drinkware to arrive
  • Design Transfer: For classic products, we will attempt to extract your current emblem (patch) or wrap from your returned product and reinstall it into the new replacement product. While it is not a guarantee that it can be salvaged for replacement, we will take the utmost care in our attempt to do so
  • Size Matching: We will make every effort to replace your drinkware with the exact size, but cannot guarantee its availability for replacement
Limitations
  • You may return up to 6 tumblers per day for replacement under the guarantee replacement policy via mail or at one of our Official Tervis Stores
  • We reserve the right to limit and/or refuse the replacement of drinkware based on but not limited to the conditions outlined in the guarantee. Product replacement is at the sole discretion of Tervis
  • Tervis reserves the right to limit or refuse replacement based on customer return history

Product Verification

If the Tervis logo is not on the product you are returning, there is a possibility that it is not a Tervis product. If you are still unsure, you can send photos of the side and bottom of the product to customer care and we will happily assist
