Temple & Webster offers stress-free 30-day returns on most items, ensuring customer satisfaction with every purchase. We are committed to providing world-class customer service and making the return process as simple as possible.

Return Policy

Return Timeframe

Returns are allowed within 30 days of the date the customer received the item.

Eligible Items for Return

Most items purchased from templeandwebster.com.au are eligible for return, subject to the conditions outlined below.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are excluded from all change of mind returns:

• Products described as “made to order”
• Mattresses, bedding, pillows and sofa covers
• All forms of clearance stock (e.g. warehouse, floor stock etc.)
• Clearance items
• Personalised items
• Gift cards
• Orders for commercial or non-domestic use

Return Conditions

Items returned must be:

• In good, unused, unwashed condition
• Preferably in original packaging
• In “as-new condition” and packaged securely in the original packaging

Generally, once an item has been assembled, we’re unable to accept it for return, as it does need to be in its original, unassembled condition to meet our return policy.

Proof of Purchase

To process a return, you will need proof of purchase, which can be a physical or digital receipt. If you don’t have a receipt, you may still be able to process a return using:

• Delivery and shipping confirmation emails
• Your Temple & Webster account information
• Credit card statements

Return Process

How to Return

If you change your mind, you can return the item within 30 days of receiving it. We’ll help arrange a pickup from your home for added convenience.

Return Shipping

Return shipping is at the customer’s cost. If you purchase an item with promotional shipping (discounted or free shipping) and you return it because you change your mind, we will deduct the actual shipping costs from your store credit voucher. Both the cost of shipping the item to you and the cost of the return shipping to the warehouse will be deducted.

Refund Policy

We’ll issue you a store credit for eligible returns. If you have a store credit, there’s no minimum spend at all — you can use it on any order, big or small.

Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed as store credit vouchers once the returned item has been received and inspected by our warehouse team.

Exchange Policy

While we don’t offer exchanges, we can absolutely arrange a return. If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style, you would need to:

1. Return the original item following our return process
2. Place a new order for the desired item

Damaged or Faulty Items

Reporting Damage

If you receive a damaged or faulty item, please contact our customer service team immediately with:

• Photos of the damaged item
• Your order details
• Description of the damage or fault

Resolution for Damaged Items

For items damaged in transit or found to be faulty, we will:

• Arrange for replacement parts where possible
• Provide a full replacement item
• Offer a full refund where appropriate

The return of damaged items may be arranged at our discretion, and return shipping costs will be covered by Temple & Webster for genuine damage or fault claims.

Warranty

Temple & Webster provides a warranty for select defective products for a period of either 1, 3, 5, or 10 years from the date of purchase. The product page will state if an item is eligible for these warranties. Depending on their discretion, they may accept your warranty claim and offer you a refund, partial refund, or replacement for parts.
