Tanishq Return, Refund & Exchange Policy

RETURN POLICY

Domestic Orders (India)

Return Timeframe:

  • Tanishq products: 7 days from date of receipt
  • Mia by Tanishq products: 30 days from date of receipt

Return Conditions:

  • Products must be returned unused and in the same condition as received
  • Items must be in original packaging along with the invoice
  • All original tags must be intact
  • Return process for jewellery products cannot be initiated without confirmation of the lock serial number

How to Initiate Returns:

  1. Contact Titan customer support on 1800-266-0123 or write to customercare@tanishq.co.in within the specified timeframe
  2. Fill the ‘Return Form’ received with the product or download from www.tanishq.co.in
  3. Pack the order in original packaging and mention name, order number and mobile number
  4. Enclose the original invoice, guarantee/warranty card & other tags
  5. Do not return the product before receiving confirmation mail from Tanishq

Special Requirements for Jewellery:

  • For jewellery products, an orange lock will be provided inside the jewellery box for return purposes
  • Customer must return the jewellery product in its original package with the box locked with the orange lock
  • Customer care will call for confirmation on the serial number of the orange lock
International Orders
  • Currently, Tanishq does not accept returns or exchanges for international orders, except for defective products
  • For defective products, customers must report the defect within 7 days of receipt for Tanishq products and 30 days for Mia products

Important Notes:
  • Products bought from www.tanishq.co.in cannot be returned at any physical store of Titan Company
  • Free logistics arrangement for return shipment collection – no payment required for courier

REFUND POLICY

Processing Timeline:
  • Refund process initiated only after receipt and inspection of product at Tanishq warehouse
  • Post inspection, refund processed only after QA (quality assurance) team approval
Refund Methods:

With Cancelled Cheque:

  • Refund within 7-15 working days through online transfer as NEFT directly to customer’s account

Without Cancelled Cheque:

  • Refund through cheque sent by courier to registered address
  • Processing time: up to 30 working days

Online Payments:

  • Amount refunded within 7-15 working days from receipt of returned product at warehouse
  • Refund via same mode of payment or through cheque if original card is not in use
International Refund Policy:
  • Currently no refund policy for international orders
  • Refunds only provided for defective products after inspection and QA team approval
Refund Conditions:
  • Product must be in unused condition with original packaging and tags
  • Original invoice required for processing
  • Refunds processed only after meeting all specified conditions

EXCHANGE POLICY

Online Purchase Exchange:
  • Products purchased from the website may only be exchanged at Tanishq, Mia by Tanishq or Zoya stores
Tanishq Store Exchange Program:

Eligible Products:

  • 24kt, 22kt, 18kt, 14kt gold and studded jewellery
  • Platinum jewellery
  • Products from Tanishq, Mia by Tanishq, and Zoya outlets

General Gold Exchange:

  • 24kt, 22kt, 18kt gold jewellery products (including those not purchased from Tanishq) accepted for exchange
  • Only plain gold jewellery products accepted under general exchange policy
  • No exchange available for studded products under general policy

Exchange Requirements:

  • Original invoice and certificate of authenticity must be produced
  • Products examined for purity, defects, weights, originality, and brand marks
  • Products valued after purity determination by Karatmeter and melting

Valuation Terms:

  • Gold/plain platinum products valued at 100% prevailing metal rate on day of exchange
  • Solitaire products valued at 100% prevailing stone rate for studded purchases, 90% for plain purchases
  • Other studded products valued at 80% of prevailing value
  • No exchange for solitaires of 2 carats and above

Deductions:

  • Making charges, taxes, and any discount from original invoice deducted in full
Exchange Process:
  • State-of-the-art Karatmeter testing for purity assessment
  • Gold melted into ingot in front of customer for transparency
  • Ingot weighed to determine exact exchange value
  • Zero hidden charges policy
