StockX Return, Refund & Exchange Policy
Return Policy
14-Day Return for StockX Credit
StockX offers a 14-day return policy for eligible items, allowing US customers to return purchases within 14 days of delivery for a full refund in the form of StockX Credit, minus the original shipping cost.
Eligibility Requirements
Geographic Eligibility:
- Available to US customers only
- EU/UK residents retain their statutory right of withdrawal
Product Eligibility:
- Over half of all trades are available for returns, determined based on the exact product and size
- Items must be labeled “14 Day Return” on the product page at time of purchase
- Only available for orders placed after October 15th, 2024
Account Requirements:
- Products must be purchased using a registered StockX account
- Purchases made using Guest Checkout are not eligible for returns
- Two-Step Verification must be enabled to apply StockX Credit
Condition Requirements:
- Products must be in the same condition as delivered (unused)
- StockX tag or StockX sticker must remain attached
Return Process
- Initiation: Visit the Buying History section of your StockX Profile (Profile > Buying > History)
- Selection: Click the order you’d like to return to open “Order Details”
- Processing: Click the “Start Return” button to begin return processing
- Shipping: You will be provided a shipping label with return instructions
Processing Timeline
- Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery
- Once received at StockX facility, expect processing within a minimum of 3 business days
Special Holiday Policy
Eligible purchases made between November 27 – December 31, 2024 can be returned through January 15, 2025
Refund Policy
StockX Credit Refunds
Refund Method:
- Full refund provided in the form of StockX Credit, minus original shipping cost
- StockX Credits are currently only available to US customers and credited in USD
Refund Reasons:
- Not satisfied with purchase (fit not as expected, change of mind)
- Quality issues are covered under separate Buyer Promise policy
Verification Process:
- Items that do not pass Returns Verification require payment of return shipping cost
- Failed verification items will be returned to buyer
Exchange Policy
Direct Exchanges Not Available
StockX does not offer traditional product exchanges. Instead, customers have two alternatives:
Option 1: Return for Credit + New Purchase
- Return eligible item for StockX Credit (14-day policy)
- Use credit toward new purchase
Option 2: No Fee Resale
For items not covered by the 14-day return policy, customers can use No Fee Resale to resell items without selling fees within 90 days of delivery.
No Fee Resale Requirements
Eligibility:
- Only products delivered after July 10, 2024
- Must be purchased using registered StockX account (not Guest Checkout)
- Products must be in same condition as delivered with StockX tag/sticker attached
- Must be sold within 90 days of delivery
Process:
- Visit Buying History (Profile > Buying > History)
- Click “Sell Now” button next to item to resell
- Covers both “Sell Now” and “Place Ask” orders
- Asks must be matched within 90 days to qualify
Benefits:
- No transaction, processing, or shipping fees
- Allows customers to earn more money back than traditional selling
Buyer Promise
For orders with quality issues (damaged items, wrong order received), StockX stands behind every order with their Buyer Promise, separate from the return policy.
EU/UK Special Rights:
EU/UK consumers retain their right of withdrawal within 14 days after delivery and statutory warranty claims, regardless of whether the StockX verification tag is attached.
