Return Policy

General Return Terms

You have 90 days after delivery to return an item in its original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Upon return, your merchandise will be inspected and appropriate credits and/or refunds will be issued for the item(s) and any taxes due to be refunded in accordance with state law.

Made to Order Pieces

These special order items are customized and built just for you; therefore, we do not accept returns. This includes cases in which an item does not fit. It is the customer’s responsibility to measure all entryways, stairs, elevators, pathways, etc. prior to purchase to ensure a successful delivery.

Ready to Ship Pieces

You may return your item within 90 days of delivery. A 50% restocking fee and your shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

Accessories & Decor

Accessories and decor items must be returned within 14 days of delivery to receive a refund minus a 25% restocking fee. Please note: Wallpapers are final sale and cannot be returned.

Mattresses

Our Joybird Luxury Mattress comes with a 90 day trial period starting at the date of delivery. If you decide the mattress is not right for you, please contact us to initiate the return process, which includes a full refund. We will work with you to arrange a return pick up through a local charity or recycling partner. 90-day trial excludes all sleeper sofa mattresses.

Clearance Items

Clearance items are final sale and are not eligible for returns, except for documented cases of damage by the carrier. Clearance items are not eligible for warranty. All manufacturing defects must be reported within 14 days of delivery. Cosmetic damage is not covered.

  • All returned items must be in their original condition
  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
  • Upon return, your merchandise will be inspected and appropriate credits and/or refunds will be issued for your order and any taxes due to be refunded in accordance with state law
Gift Card Refunds

Returned merchandise purchased with a Joybird Gift Card will be refunded to a Joybird Gift card.

Shipping Damage Refunds

Refunds are eligible if your item is damaged during shipping but it must be noted with the shipping carrier upon delivery. All shipping damage must be reported within 14 days of delivery for all products.

Exchange Policy

No Direct Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. You may order a new item and return the item that you do not care for within the return window. Payment for the new item would be taken separately.
