At LKQ Euro Car Parts, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. If you need to return, exchange, or request a refund for any item, this policy outlines your rights and our procedures to make the process as straightforward as possible.
Return Policy
Return Timeframe
We are happy to offer a refund on unused items returned within 60 days of purchase. If the item is faulty, we will offer a refund or exchange where available.
Return Methods
You can return items through several convenient options:
- In-Store Returns (FREE)
- You can return your item free of charge to a local LKQ Euro Car Parts Store
- Simply visit your local store with your original invoice or your order confirmation email
- Courier Collection (£3.45 fee)
- We can arrange the collection using our carrier DHL at a subsidised cost of £3.45
- Post Returns (Customer pays postage)
- You (the customer) are responsible for all postage costs for products returned under our Returns Procedure (except where the goods are faulty)
Return Conditions
Any products returned must not be devalued, should be in a re-saleable condition and include the documentation and original packaging. All items will be inspected before a refund is applied.
Required Documentation
When returning items, you must provide:
- Your original invoice or your order confirmation email
- Your original order number, which can be found on the order confirmation email you received when placing your order
Refund Policy
Refund Processing Time
We aim to process returns within 5-7 working days of receiving them. You will be notified by email once the return is complete. This process will be completed within 14 days of confirmed receipt of the goods.
Refund Coverage
- For unsuitable items: If you are returning an unsuitable item for a refund, we will refund the cost of the item only and not the original delivery cost
- For faulty items: Should you be returning a faulty item for a refund we will refund both the original shipping costs and the return delivery costs
Refund Method
We will normally refund any money due to you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. This may take your bank approximately 3-5 working days from the date the refund is processed by us.
Excluded Items
Certain items cannot be returned for refund:
- Contracts for the supply of Goods that are made to the Consumer’s specifications or are personalised
- Contracts for the supply of Goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
- Contracts for the supply of sealed Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery
- Contracts for the supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items (such as paint)
- Contracts for the supply of sealed audio or sealed video recordings or sealed computer software which are unsealed after delivery
Exchange Policy
Exchange Timeframe
We can exchange a product up to 60 days after purchase as long as it meets the conditions of our returns policy.
Exchange Process
To make an exchange, you will need to bring your product into a LKQ Euro Car Parts store to exchange for the product you want. Please make sure you bring your invoice or your order reference number along with you when you come to exchange.
Important Exchange Limitations
Please also note that exchanges can only be done in our stores, and not by courier or post.

Consumer Rights
Right to Cancel (Online/Mail Order Purchases)
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel a Contract for any item bought on the Website or mobile app for a full refund within 14 days without giving any reason.
Extended Goodwill Guarantee
Our goodwill guarantee offers a 60-day period to change your mind for purchases via our Website and mobile app only, which is more generous than the standard 14-day period under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Faulty Items
According to the Consumer Rights Act 2015: up to 30 days: if your item is faulty, then you can get a refund. Up to six months: if your faulty item can’t be repaired or replaced, then you’re entitled to a full refund, in most cases.
