Converse Return, Refund & Exchange Policy

Return Policy

30-Day Return Window

You may return your Converse.com purchase for any reason within 30 days of the date of delivery. When you shop on Converse.com, you have 30 days after delivery to try your products on for fit, confidently knowing you can return for any reason within those 30 days.

Extended Return Period

If it’s been more than 30 days, you can still return your order for a full refund if the product is unworn and unwashed.

Return Conditions

Items must be unused, unwashed and in original packaging. Returns are only accepted for purchases made through Converse.com.

Eligible Items for Return
  • Standard Converse products purchased from Converse.com
  • Customized Converse products (Converse By You) can be returned for any reason within 30 days
  • Products with workmanship or material defects
Non-Returnable Items
  • Gift cards purchased on Converse.com are not refundable
  • Products purchased from other authorized retailers or vendors
  • Items that have been worn, washed, or used beyond trying on for fit
Return Process for Registered Users

Registered Converse.com users get free returns and can initiate returns online by:

  1. Login to your Converse.com account and review My Orders on the Order Status page
  2. Select the item(s) to return
  3. Fill out your address, reason for return, and the box dimensions
  4. Select “Print” and attach the label to your package
  5. Drop your package off at an Authorized UPS Shipping Location
Return Labels
  • Free returns within the continental U.S. using the return label included in your shipment
  • If your order did not include a return label or if you’ve misplaced it, you can get a new one by entering your order number in the Order Status window or contacting Customer Service
Products Not Purchased from Converse.com

Converse can only accept returns for purchases made through Converse.com. For products purchased from retail partners, you should initially contact them directly to request an exchange or return. If you continue having difficulty, you can contact Converse Consumer group at consumergrp@converse.com.

Refund Policy

Refund Processing Time

Returns are processed within 7 days of receipt; refunds will be issued onto the original payment card. After Converse receives and processes your return, they’ll send you a confirmation email and process your refund to your original form of payment within two business days.

Total Refund Timeline

It may take up to 10 additional business days for your payment method to reflect the refund. Your bank may require up to five additional working days to process your refund. The maximum refund time is up to eleven working days and in many cases much quicker.

Refund Methods
  • Refunds are issued to the original form of payment
  • If you return a product originally purchased with a gift card, any refund due to you will be returned to the gift card used or to a new gift card where the original gift card cannot be located
  • If you return a product originally purchased with multiple payment methods, any refund due will first be refunded to the payment method(s) used for the original transaction up to the original amount due to that payment method, following which the remaining balance will be transferred to the gift card

Exchange Policy

Exchange Availability

Converse does not exchange products bought on Converse.com. They are happy to accept your return through their returns process and you will be able to re-order at your convenience.

Exchange Process

If you would like to exchange your product, you may do so by filling in the exchange form that was included in your original shipment or by calling Customer Service at 888-792-3307.

In-Store Exchanges

For in-store purchases, bring back your Converse products with your receipt for a full refund to the original form of payment.

Special Product Categories

Converse By You (Custom Products)
  • All Converse By You product returns are free
  • Please contact Converse to receive your return label
  • Products created through Converse By You can be returned for any reason within 30 days of the delivery date
Defective Products

Converse stands behind all of its products. If your product has a workmanship or material flaw, support is available depending on your place of purchase. If your Converse By You product has a material or workmanship flaw, Converse will accept your returns if the order was purchased on Converse.com less than two years ago and inspectors confirm the product contains a flaw.
