Return Policy

General Return Terms
  • We will gladly accept your free return or exchange of UNWORN merchandise within 30 days of the date of shipment
  • Returns are free
  • Original shipping charges incurred on your order are not refundable
  • Please allow two weeks for your return to be processed
  • A credit should appear on your credit card, or original method of payment, within two billing cycles
Return Process

Online Returns:

  • The online return process will require a printer
  • Once you complete the return process, a PDF download of the shipping label and return document will be available to print
  • Please attach the return label to your package and keep a copy of return documentation for tracking purposes

Multiple Orders:

  • If returning multiple orders, please return and ship each order separately for faster refunds, rather than combining them into one package
Shipping for Returns
  • All returns and exchanges will be shipped using Fedex Economy Shipping regardless of shipping method used on original purchase

Exchange Policy

Exchange Terms
  • Exchanges are free
  • Exchanges can only be made for the same product, different size or color
  • We are only able to accept one product exchange. If your new product still doesn’t work for you, it must be returned
  • Exchange orders will be canceled after 21 days (from submission) if not received
Out of Stock Items
  • If the product you would like to exchange for is out of stock (item, color, or size), please follow the returns process for a full refund

Gift Return Requirements
  • If you have a gift that needs to be returned or exchanged, you will need BOTH the order number and the shipping zip code from the original purchase

Warranty Policy

Lifetime Warranty Coverage
  • ALL CHACO PRODUCTS ARE WARRANTED TO BE FREE OF DEFECTS IN MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP FOR THE ENTIRE LIFE OF THE PRODUCT
  • All Chaco footwear purchased from an Authorized Dealer in the United States of America: Defects in original, unaltered, and unmodified materials and workmanship for the life of the product
What’s Covered
  • If a product fails because of a defect in materials or the quality of workmanship, we will repair or replace it free of charge
  • This warranty extends to the original end-user purchaser in the United States
  • This warranty applies only to products that were purchased from us or our authorized sellers in the United States
What’s NOT Covered
  • Damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper care, misuse, accident, neglect, or the natural breakdown of materials over time
  • Products acquired from unauthorized dealers and aftermarket sources — such as online auction sites, liquidators, consignment shops, private sellers, sales samples, promotional products, and final sale/warehouse sales
  • Laces, lace hardware, and insoles are not covered by our warranty
  • Warranty does not apply to problems with fit
  • Products worn past the point of repair will be void of warranty coverage
  • Products modified or repaired outside of Chaco or by a Chaco-certified cobbler will be void of warranty coverage
Warranty Process
  • A defective product is an imperfection from a manufacturing or design defect
  • Chaco product must be evaluated by our specialists first-hand for warranty determination
  • Warranted products are replaced at Chaco’s discretion
  • While there is no charge for a warranty repair or replacement, if we determine that your footwear is not covered under warranty, we will repair them for a fee

Special Product Policies

Custom Chacos (MyChacos)
  • This product is one-of-a-kind and made specially for you. For that reason, all sales are final and we cannot accept returns
  • This offer excludes all MyChacos custom products and accessories
Gifts with Purchase
  • Gifts with purchase are free, limited time gifts. These items cannot be returned or exchanged
