Return Policy

General Return Terms

We stand behind the quality of our products and are confident you will love the feel of your new bedding. If you are unhappy with your order, we will gladly accept returns for items purchased on our site or at our retail location within 365 days of purchase.

Return Timeframe

  • 365 days from date of purchase for all eligible items
  • We accept returns in any condition within 365 days of purchase
  • Items can be washed or used and still returned

Return Fees

  • All returns are subject to a $9.95 return fee deducted from your refund amount
  • The return fee will be waived for all returns processed in any of our retail locations
  • Return fee may be waived for damaged, defective, or incorrect items under certain circumstances

Items Excluded from Returns

  • We do not accept returns for items listed as “Final Sale”, including but not limited to, our Last Call/Sale section
  • Products purchased through third-party partners must be returned through that site and will be subject to their return policy guidelines

Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Fill out the returns form on brooklinen.com
  2. Return shipping is completely covered for domestic returns
  3. We reserve the right to require a valid form of identification for in-store returns, subject to state law

Donated Returns

We donate all returns! If your item has been washed or used, it is sent to one of our donation centers through our partnership with Good360.

Refund Policy

Refund Methods

All returns can be refunded to the original method of payment or issued through store credit. If for any reason, your original form of payment is no longer active or able to process the refund, you will receive store credit for the same amount.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds are processed after items are received and inspected
  • A return fee of $9.95 will be deducted from your refund amount (except for in-store returns)
  • Full refunds available within 365 days of purchase (excluding Final Sale items)

Price Matching for Returns and Repurchases

If you placed an order with a promotion applied or you are returning and repurchasing an item from a Bundle, we will gladly match the price of the item in your original order. All you need to do is place your new order and send us an email with the new order number included.

Exchange Policy

Exchange Process

At this time, we do not offer exchanges. The best way to move forward is to initiate a return for your original items and repurchase the items you would like in a new order!

Alternative to Exchanges

  1. Return unwanted items using the standard return process
  2. Place a new order for desired items
  3. Contact customer service at hello@brooklinen.com for price matching if applicable

Product Warranty

Warranty Coverage

We’re happy to offer our customers a 365-day return policy and warranty coverage on all products and an additional one-year extended warranty for our core products after the initial 365-day term.

Two-Year Warranty Structure

Year 1 (0-365 days):

  • Full return policy applies
  • Warranty coverage for defective items
  • As an alternative to making a return, you can receive replacements or refunds for defective items, including Last Call items, under our warranty

Year 2 (365-730 days):

  • In the second year after purchase, we’re no longer able to accept returns, but any defective items within our list of core products may be replaced or refunded!

Core Products Covered by Extended Warranty

Core products include: Sheets (Cotton, Linen, Heathered Cashmere, Brushed Flannel, Brooklittles) Down & Down Alternative (Comforters, Pillows, Mattress Toppers, and Pillow Protectors)

Products NOT Covered by Extended Warranty

At this time, our warranty is not extended for our Loungewear, Tufted Bath Rugs, Weighted and Throw Blankets, Brooklittles Swaddles and Quilts, Quilts and Shams, Silk Collection, and Candles.

Warranty Claims Process

If you would like to submit a warranty claim, you can head to our site and select the quality guarantee option. You will be prompted to complete a form for our team. Once you submit the form, someone from our team will reach back out to work towards the best solution for you. Please keep in mind, in order to assess the claim, we will need a photo of the defective product.

International Returns

International Policy

  • If you live outside of the US or Canada and are looking to initiate a return, please check out the return policy in the International FAQs
  • While the $9.95 return fee will not be withheld from refunds for purchases that are returned from outside of the United States or Canada, customers will be responsible for contacting Brooklinen for return instructions based on country, product condition, and price

Policy Abuse Prevention

We monitor return activity for abuse and reserve the right to limit returns associated with a user whom we suspect of abusing this Return Policy. This includes but is not limited to users who exhibit a pattern of repeated and/or excessive returns or otherwise exhibit fraudulent behavior.
