Bosch Return, Refund and Exchange Policy

1. RETURN POLICY

1.1 General Return Conditions
  • BSH will not accept any returns except as provided above. Notwithstanding anything stated herein, Accessories, Consumables and Spare Parts ordered are non-cancellable and non-returnable.
  • No cancellation is possible once the product is delivered.
  • Returns are only accepted in specific circumstances as outlined below.
1.2 Damage Upon Delivery

Inspection Requirements:

  • Customer must inspect all products in its packaged condition upon delivery.
  • In case of Accessories, Consumables & Spare Parts : within 48 hours from the delivery of the product to the customer; or In case of all other products: within 72 hours from the delivery of the product to the customer

Notification Process:

  • Customer is required to notify BSH for such damages via email to the Customer Care along with the invoice and picture(s) of the product delivered reflecting the damage.
  • The customer must notify BSH if the products are not in accordance with the customer order or sales invoice within 72 hours of delivery.
1.3 Cancelled Order Delivered by Error
  • In a rare case if a cancelled order is still delivered, please raise a return request within 24 hours to BSH Customer Care. Return will be taken only if product is not activated and not used, with the original packaging and Brand seal intact.
1.4 Non-Returnable Items
  • Accessories, Consumables and Spare Parts ordered are non-cancellable and non-returnable.

2. REFUND POLICY

2.1 General Refund Terms
  • BSH will proceed with providing a replacement or refund, at its sole discretion, for the requests received from the customers under para (a) and (b) above, provided such requests are found to be genuine by BSH.
  • It may take up to 15 -30 days for refund credit to reflect into your account after the refund is initiated by BSH.
2.2 Pre-Delivery Cancellation
  • In case the customer wishes to cancel the order (for the products that are eligible for cancellation) before the delivery of the product, the customer must contact the Customer Care with the details of the order and reason for cancellation.
  • BSH reserves the right to accept or reject such cancellation requests.
2.3 Money Back Guarantee (Dishwashers)

Eligibility:

  • To avail this offer, the customer needs to buy the Bosch DW from the authorized dealer in India and the installation and service shall be done by the Company.
  • In case a customer is not satisfied with the DW, customer to call at the call center within 15 days of installation of the DW from the registered mobile number.

Conditions:

  • The DW can be returned by the customer provided there is no damage to the DW and it is well maintained and used according to the usage prescribed in ‘Bosch Operating Instruction Manual’ provided along with the DW.
  • The MBG shall not be applicable if there is any physical/aesthetic damage (including dents, scratches etc.).

Refund Amount:

  • Rs.1000/- will be deducted as transportation and handling charges from the invoice amount and the balance amount will be returned to the customer by the dealer.
  • The balance amount shall be paid to the customer within 30 days of acceptance of return of the DW.
2.4 Force Majeure Refunds
  • BSH may cancel the Order or any unfulfilled part thereof and refund any money paid towards the cancelled Order to the Customer, or extend the time for its performance or completion by the time lost because of the event preventing or delaying delivery.

3. EXCHANGE POLICY

3.1 Exchange Offers

Bosch periodically offers exchange programs for specific appliances:

Refrigerator Exchange:

  • Exchange your old refrigerator with an all-new Bosch Refrigerator and get up to Rs 4500* off. Offers will vary based on the specific models.

General Exchange Program:

  • Get up to ₹ 10,000 as exchange value on old AC, TV, Refrigerator or Washing Machine against new Bosch appliances
3.2 Exchange Terms
  • Exchange offers are subject to specific promotional terms and conditions
  • Exchange values vary based on the model and condition of old appliances
  • Exchange offers are time-limited promotional campaigns

4. WARRANTY POLICY

4.1 Standard Warranty Coverage
  • The warranty is confined only to the first purchase of the appliance and is non-transferable.
  • The 2 year warranty covers only manufacturing defect in material, Parts and workmanship that may arise despite normal operation and usage of the appliance, as prescribed in the instruction manual.
4.2 Extended Warranty Coverage

Washing Machines:

  • The Semi automatic washing machine’s wash motor comes with additional 5 years warranty (over the standard 2 years). During this period of 5 years only wash motor as a part is covered in warranty.
  • The Top loading washing machine’s motor comes with additional 8 years warranty (over the standard 2 years).
4.3 Warranty Conditions
  • Repairs, installations & removal of the appliance shall be carried out by an Authorized Service Personnel, failing which this warranty will be void.
  • To make a claim under BSH Manufacturer’s Warranty in relation to a product, the customer is required to provide a proof of purchase along with the warranty card.
4.4 Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • The warranty does not cover consumables, normal wear & tear parts, plastic, glass and/ or rubber parts, non-operational parts and related accessories.
  • If the Appliance is used by a commercial establishment or by an individual for commercial purpose.
  • If incorrect / not suitable detergents are used for laundry appliances and dishwashers.
