Return Policy

Return Period

You have 28 days to return any unwanted items to us. The 28 days will start from the day after the items were delivered to your home address. Or, if delivered to store, the 28 days starts from the day after the items were collected.

Item Condition Requirements

You may return most items in a new and unused condition and wherever possible in the original packaging. If tags have been removed we may be unable to process a refund.

Late Returns

If your items are returned to us outside of the 28 day period, then we’ll issue you with an eVoucher instead of a refund to your original payment method. The eVoucher must be used within 6 months of the issue date.

Return Methods

Free In-Store Returns

It’s completely FREE to return your items to one of our 500+ stores and there’s no need to bring a return note. Simply take your items into store, and either head to the till, or return using a parcel drop box. It’s also the quickest way to get credited/refunded for your returns.

Courier Collection

Collections are available right from your doorstep Monday to Saturday and you can book up to 7 days in advance. A £2.50 returns charge will be applied for each collection/return, regardless of the number of items you return.

Evri ParcelShops and Post Offices

With over 10,000 locations, Evri ParcelShops and Post Offices offer an eco-friendly way to get your parcels back to us. A £2.50 returns charge will be applied for each collection/return, regardless of the number of items you return.

Evri Lockers

With over 5,500 locations and available 24/7, Evri Lockers offers an eco-friendly and convenient way to get your parcels back to us. A £2.50 returns charge will be applied for each collection/return, regardless of the number of items you return.

Refund Policy

Processing Time

In-Store Returns: Your refund will be processed by Next within 1 working day.

Courier/Mail Returns: Your refund will be processed by Next within 1 working day once the item(s) reach our returns centre, (typically takes 3 days).

Refund Method

If you do not have a Next credit account, we’ll refund back to your original method of payment. Please check with your payment provider for the timeline on when the funds will be made available to you as this is outside of our control.

Exceptions to Returns Policy

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene reasons, pierced jewellery items, cosmetics, toiletries and mattresses cannot be returned if unwrapped or unsealed unless faulty.

Swimwear and Underwear can only be returned if faulty, or unworn and unused. The item must be returned in its original condition.

No refunds or exchanges can be given on items made to your specification, made to measure items, or on either unsealed pots of paint including sample pots, unless there is a manufacturing defect or the goods are not as ordered.

Gift cards/ eGiftcards/ eVouchers cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.

Perishable items such as food, plants, drinks and fresh flowers cannot be returned.

Items Not Accepted at Certain Locations

We cannot accept any returns through our airport or Fabled stores.

The following items cannot be returned to our stores: Large items delivered by 2 person delivery, domestic appliances, Beaverbrooks’ products, personalise me products, products for return to Hammonds, or Gift Experiences.

Exchange Policy

Note: Next.co.uk operates on a return-and-repurchase model rather than direct exchanges. To exchange an item:

1. Return the unwanted item following the return process above
2. Place a new order for the desired item
3. You will receive a refund for the returned item and be charged for the new purchase
